Curava Element features warm tones with a beige base and gentle teal accents. Element is available in 3cm thickness with a polished or seaglass finish. Standard slab size is 55″x120″.
Curava is a recycled glass, resin-based surface with maintenance properties very similar to that of quartz surfaces. Curava is non-porous and does not require sealing. Unlike recycled glass surfaces made with concrete, Curava is not subject to staining and acid etching.
Cleaning
Curava only requires mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water to clean. For best results clean any food or liquid spills promptly. For dried-on spills, use a non-abrasive scrub pad with soap and water, or a mild household cleaner to remove the substance. While Curava is able to resist most common household chemicals, avoid products containing bleach or ammonia.
Heat
As with any other stone countertop, we do not recommend sustained heat directly on your Curava countertop. Extreme changes in temperature can cause thermal shocking resulting in clouding of the finish or actual cracking of your countertop. It is always recommended that a trivet or hot pad be placed between hot items and your countertop.
Cutting
To prolong the use of your knives, always use a cutting board. Cutting directly on Curava countertops could dull your knives.
